What issues do you specialize in?
Please refer to the Areas of Practice page. It is not a full and complete list of the problems that fall within my scope of practice, but it’s a good overview.
What type of therapy do you provide?
Tailoring therapy to each client is essential for creating a meaningful, effective therapeutic experience. Every person’s life experiences, values, and goals are unique, and therapy should reflect that individuality. I have received specialized training and supervision in a variety of evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My work also draws from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well.
When working with those with PTSD, I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Nightmares (CBT-N)

What is your fee?
The initial consultation appointment is 90 minutes and the fee is $225. This extended session gives us time to explore your history, current issues, potential diagnoses, and goals for therapy. A longer, more in-depth intake session is like building a solid foundation for a house—when we take the time to lay it properly, we’re setting up for lasting stability and success. Without it, we may end up spending more time patching problems, or worse, risk an unsteady structure that can’t hold up over time. Subsequent sessions are 50 minutes long, with a fee of $150 per session. Fees are based on the BCACC Fee Guide.
To make therapy more accessible, I reserve 10% of my practice for pay-what-you-can clients. This option is designed to support those who may be facing financial barriers but are committed to their mental health. If you are interested in being put on this waiting list, please schedule a consultation. The wait list is currently open and will close when the estimated wait exceeds six months.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
The very annoying answer to this and many therapy-related questions is, “it depends.” I am a big proponent of short-term therapy, and fortunately we have wonderful, evidence-based treatments that can help us to see meaningful change relatively quickly. I design my practice to be goal-oriented, which means we will come up with concrete, specific therapeutic goals and track our progress along the way to ensure we are progressing. That all being said, some issues are very complex and require more long term care, and that’s okay, too!
Do you provide in-person or telehealth appointments?
I provide both in-person and telehealth appointments. My in-person appointment day is on Thursdays, and my office is located in the Fairview neighborhood. I provide telehealth appointments through Zoom for Healthcare. I offer a variety of appointment times for telehealth, including weekends and evenings.
Do you provide counselling for ICBC customers?
Yes, I am a provider for ICBC’s Recovery and Health Care Network. Many issues that may arise for motor vehicle accidents, including grief, anxiety, and trauma, fall within my scope of practice.
